Kristen Taylor, Marketing/Admissions Director for Shepherd of the Valley-Niles, has been asked to serve a second term on the OSHIIP (Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program) Volunteer Advisory Board. OVAB assists OSHIIP to improve and grow its volunteer network, addressing areas such as volunteer recruitment, training and retention, and beneficiary outreach. The board meets throughout the year in Columbus with telephone meetings on the off months.
“I am really excited to serve another OVAB term. It has given me a great opportunity to network with other coordinators serving on the board and see how they are dealing with certain cases, and how they are resolved,” stated Taylor. “It’s also wonderful to sit down with the Columbus-based OSHIIP staff, including the Director, Gretchen Lopez. It’s obvious they value their volunteers.”
