SUMMARY:Dinner on the Diamond at Eastwood Field
DESCRIPTION:The Shepherd’s Foundation\, in partnership with The Oswald Companies\, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Services and The Mahoning Valley Scrappers\, is proud to present “Dinner on the Diamond At Eastwood Field.” \nCome out and meet actor Dwier Brown\, who played “John Kinsella\,” father of Kevin Costner’s character\, “Ray Kinsella\,” in the 1989 movie\, “Field of Dreams.” Enjoy a buffet dinner catered by Cockeye BBQ\, and bring your glove and baseballs and “have a catch” in the outfield. Festivities also will include the showing of the movie on the scoreboard\, a 50/50 drawing and a basket raffle (basket donations welcome and appreciated). \nGates open at 5:30 p.m. VIP ticketholders will be admitted at 5 p.m. for a meet-and-greet with Dwier Brown until 6:45. Dinner will be from 6-7 p.m.\, then the actor will speak and have a Q&A. Prizewinners will be announced before the movie begins around 7:30 p.m. \nSpace is limited and is first-come\, first-served.
