On Wednesday, Niles assisted living resident and long-time casino-goer, Shirley Egry, tried her luck on the slot machines at JACK Cleveland Casino. Good vibes surrounded her due to the outpouring of support she received from the community.
“As always this program is opening doors to opportunities our residents would never have otherwise,” said Kristen Taylor, Director of Marketing and Admissions at Shepherd of the Valley – Niles. “The Dream Team is really excited to do this for Shirley and we can’t wait to see how she reacts to it all.”
JACK Cleveland Casino gave Shirley the “royal treatment.” JACK Cleveland Casino provided a special meal of her choice hosted by their executive chef, a swag bag of JACK branded goodies, her favorite flowers, free slot play money, and Shirley received an honorary ClubJACK K-card, which is one of the top levels offered in the casino’s rewards program. Tom Rossi of Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home donated a limousine to transport the queen and her court for the day.
